The College of Anaesthesiologist of East, Central and Southern Africa are delighted to announce that the Society of Somalia Anaesthesiologists and Intensive Care Medicine (SOSAIM) as the new member country.
Master Training Workshop
The College of Anaesthesiologists of East, Central, and Southern Africa (CANECSA), in collaboration with the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI) will conduct a five days Master Training Workshop in Lusaka, Zambia.

TRAINING PROGRAMMES
CANECSA training in Anaesthesiology and Critical care medicine is undertaken in accredited training institution. There are 2 training programmes:
- Membership of the College of Anaesthesiologists (MCA).
- Fellowship of the College of Anaesthesiologists (FCA).
Both training programmes are for a minimum period of 2 years

Members and Fellows
Joining the College of Anaesthesiologists of East, Central, and Southern Africa (CANECSA) as a Member or Fellow provides professional accreditation, as well as access to a network of support within the ECSA region.

Subscriptions
Annual subscription fee is required to be paid by all members of the College of Anaesthesiologists of East, Central, and Southern Africa (CANECSA).
The amount of this fee is determined by the Council and approved by the Annual General Meeting.

CANECSA CONSTITUENT MEMBER COUTRIES

Constituent members are those who have met the necessary requirements to become a member of CANECSA and are actively participating in the College’s activities.
These countries include the Democratic Republic of Congo, Ethiopia, Eswatini, Kenya, Malawi, Rwanda, Namibia, Somali, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.
